CONFERENCEIn 2025 the summer school is planned to be held live in Riga.
Deadline:
- for other applicants: 17.07.2025.
Documents to be submitted by participants who apply for paid studies:
- completed application (from February 20) form for participation in the summer school;
- participation fee payment confirmation by 17 July 2025.
The documents should be sent electronically to the e-mail sagkursi@lu.lv.
NB: Information for non-EU students.
Students are responsible for their visa application and other related arrangements. Summer school organizer does not cover fees for visa services.
The University of Latvia helps with visa arrangements only to international students whose higher education establishments have entered bilateral international cooperation agreements with the University of Latvia.
Summer school participants with little or no knowledge of Latvian, who apply to study for a fee and who require a visa to enter the EU, should additionally submit:
- completed application (from February 20) form for participation in the summer school;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- a letter of motivation (a personal statement);
- statement / confirmation of the university;
- passport or identity card (ID) copy;
- bank transfer statement to confirm the participation fee payment by 17.07.2025.
The documents should be sent electronically to the e-mail sagkursi@lu.lv.
Information on the decision taken will be sent to the applicant’s e-mail address.
NB! The groups for students with little or no knowledge of Latvian are limited to 13 participants.
