In 2025 the summer school is planned to be held live in Riga.

Deadline: 01.07.2025.

Terms and conditions:

• Please fill out the application form.
• Participants who have applied for paid studies and wish to cancel their participation, must submit a written notice electronically to aleksandra.kjakste@lu.lv by 1 July, 2025.
• Applications sent after the deadline will be considered only if there are free places.
• The University of Latvia will process applicants’ personal data only for the UL study process and academic and administrative research purposes, scientific and statistical studies, as well as in other cases arising from contractual obligations of the students or the laws of the Republic of Latvia in the cases specified.
• The University of Latvia reserves the right to claim the programme fee in accordance with the above-mentioned terms, if you have received a letter of confirmation from the summer school organizers and have failed to cancel your participation by submitting a written notification via e-mail.
• The groups for students with little or no prior knowledge of Latvian are limited to 13 participants.

Refund policy: 

• If you withdraw or decline participation until July 1, 2025, we withhold 10 % from your paid participation fee.
• If you withdraw or decline participation from July 2, 2025 until July 15, 2025, we withhold 50% from your paid participation fee.
• If the Pre-Studies Training Centre of the University of Latvia cancels the programme due to unforeseen circumstances, we will fully refund the programme fee or offer a substitute programme.
